Playground Fencing Proposal – Vote
To enhance the safety of Clifton View's playground area, we are proposing the installation of new fencing. This measure is aimed purely at ensuring the safety of children and all users of the park.
What Are We Voting On?
The image below illustrates the proposed fencing, which meets Health and Safety standards for children’s playground areas. The design features green bow-top railings, with entry and exit gates installed in a contrasting colour to help children easily identify access points, in line with recommended safety guidelines. The proposed fencing will cover the two sides of the playground that are currently exposed to the road. Over time, as the developer’s temporary fencing is removed, our intention would be to consider extending the fencing around the entire park, however this would be subject to a further vote being undertaken.

Funding and Impact
We are pleased to inform you that the funds for these two sides of fencing are already available in the service charge account. This ensures that there will be no additional costs to residents for this particular installation.
Why Are We Proposing This?
- Safety First: The primary goal of this fencing is to improve the safety of children using the playground by preventing access to the road.
- Funding: The funds required for this fencing are already available in the service charge account, so no additional costs will be passed on to owners.
